The Sickness by Olivia

The Sickness By: Olivia

“Tick Tock Tick” I heard the noise of clock on the wall as I was impatiently waiting.   cousins were about to be here any minute and I couldn’t stand the anticipation I wanted to go now. I just sighed and decided to go upstairs since maybe they were  going to be be here later, and I had nothing else to do while I was waiting.
I was just at the bottom of the stairs. I heard the sound of the motorcycle I  dashed back into the living room I saw my cousins. I ran up and I  hugged them. It was the first time I have seen them since I was six. I was super happy to see them  again. Tina and I were going out to eat sushi with them and hang out. “You excited” Tina said.
“Definitely this night is going to be awesome” We said goodbye and started heading out. I got to ride with my cousin and my sister got to ride with my cousin in law or was it the opposite I can’t remember. We were heading out. Riding on motorcycles in Vietnam is usual since the roads were so thin. I could feel the wind in my hair the lights of the city it's awesome. My sister brought her camera so we kept on stopping to take pictures. I wanted to eat but we had to keep on taking pictures       “ Wait let's stop here” she kept on taking pictures of us our cousins with up. Also, she took pictures of this little creek that we found. I finally said “Can we go yet I think you’ve finally taken enough pictures  and I want to get there it been an hour.”
“Yeah I think we should go It's already 6 we should go” said my cousin After that they decided that it was time to go and  went back on their motorcycle. When we got there I was exploding with excitement  this was nothing like I expected. But  from that things started to take a turn.
“I am sorry sir but were full and can’t let you in, but if you call back In about an hour or so we would definitely have a table for you.” After that I could just                    smell    all the delicious food and it made me even more hungry.” We were on the      motorcycles heading to a Boba place not to far away from the sushi place. Boba is like hard little tapioca pearls that when you cook in boiling water it puffs them up and turns it into gummy like balls that you put in your smoothie or drink. I got a weird caramel mocha drink.   It felt like we were there for longest time having the best time ever just chatting and getting to know the better. I saw what time it was we were about to be late. We immediately sprang out the door and started driving to the place we got there. We finally sat down and ordered My stomach felt uneasy I felt nauseous like I was sick  I turned around and asked my Tina “ Hey  Tina I don’t I feel so well ”’ It’s probably your stomach saying I want food” Tina said  “I hope so” I whispered to myself. “. I sat and looked at the menu there was really nothing I liked. But I looked at a couple that I liked but my sister told me it was eel or sea urchin. “Hey you ready yet there ready to take our order we've been here for fifteen minutes. ”I finally chose something after looking at the menu back and for which was california roll.” Hey you feel better yet after eating” Said Tina “Yeah” I said but that was a complete lie I felt super nauseous and wanted to go home.
We finally made it back home my dad was downstairs with my grandma. I said hi and all of a sudden, my cheeks puffed up I ran to the bathroom and puked all of the bathroom floor. My dad went up the stairs after me and saw all the puke on the floor. My dad said, “Why don't you go to the our room where mom is, I can take care of this.”

As I walked I felt like a big blob of sickness. My mom was in our grandparent’s guest room she heard what happened and laid me down on the bed to rest. I felt sleepy I was about to fall asleep when my mom came in with some tea and medicine. After that I realized I was sleepy, felt like a piece of goop, and probably with a case of the stomach flu. In the end I realized I just had a great time with my cousins and sister.
