The First Time I Played UNDERTALE!

It was a beautiful morning I heard the beautiful sound of birds. I woke up with my nose about to explode with snot. Every time I breathed I heard the snot slowly eek out of my nose, it was gross.  I got up and I went to the bathroom and blew my nose, it sounded like an elephant. Then I remembered it was the day after my birthday! So, I went downstairs and got some breakfast, I think I woke up my friends from blowing my nose because my friends came down too to have some breakfasting too.I asked them if they heard me blow my nose and they said yeah. I greeted them with a hug and soon we were having breakfast all happily. After breakfast my friends and I, went to go play with the little LPS Ruby had created by painting them with Acrylic paint. Her LPS were Undertale version. So, we played with them for a while. Then ten minutes into playing with the animals Katie’s mom came and picked her up. Then me and Ruby just played with the Little cute Undertale animals. Two seconds later I remembered for my birthday I got two games on the computer, Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister location and Undertale. So, me and Ruby played for a bit, because I couldn’t play anything till all of my friends left. Ruby’s mom came and picked her up, I said my goodbyes and rushed over to the computer to find Ella, My little sister on the computer.  I had persuaded my little sister to give me the computer, but I had to play FNAF SL ( Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location) first. I think I got to the second night of the horror game then I ended it to play some Undertale!

It started of with a prologue of the game, “Long ago Monsters and Humans once ruled the Surface in harmony…. Then one day war broke out between the two races…. After a long battle the Humans were victorious and they locked the Monsters under a mountain with a powerful spell…. Mt. Ebott 201X.” Then a song started to play with a few pictures on what happened to start the game. A black screen appeared with the alphabet in lowercase and uppercase letters. It took me a while to learn how to control the game so I restarted it and then I figured out that I had to use the arrow keys, and I’m like, wow I’m dumb. I typed in my name then It zoomed in on it and “yes” and “no” I chose yes and my screen turned white. “I’m playing Undertale.”

 I started in a black room with a golden flower bed and a character wearing a blue sweater with purple stripes. I walked out the door on the end of a short hallway then I saw another golden flower patch and this weird golden flower popped out of nowhere. He said his name was Flowey, Flowey the flower. Then my screen turned black and white and red and orange. Flowey was attacking me.

I had no clue what was happening He told me to catch all of his “friendliness pellets” because he said they would give me lots of lv. I asked what LV stood for. He answered, “Why LOVE of course!” So I dodged the little white “friendliness Pellets” just to see what would happen. Flowey got furious that I was dodging them and he said,  “You know what’s going on here don’t you, you know that IN THIS WORLD IT’S KILL OR BE KILLED! And I’m gonna take your soul. And cross the barrier.”  Then I heard the high pitched laugh and I looked at flowey to see an evil face.  Then all of his “friendliness pellets” circled around me Then Flowey said in the deepest evilest voice,”DIE.”  Then the pellets started to come closer to me. I thought I couldn’t get out when white fireballs popped out of nowhere and bumped the pellets away protecting me. Then a weird goat wearing a purple robe came out and shot Flowey with a fireball.

“Hello my child. I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. I’m so sorry I didn’t come sooner to protect you, come I shall lead you to the ruins and take care of you. At this point in the game I was getting really hungry. So I paused the game to grab a quick snack. I finished the food fast so I could continue. I walked around the ruins with Toriel till we came upon a room with a wood bridge and spikes coming out of it. I thought that I was gonna die right there and then. But Toriel held my hand and wherever she walked the spikes would disappear and reappear in a pattern. When we were past them Toriel let go of my hand and we continued into the Ruins.

We next came into a long hallway. Toriel wanted me to walk to the end of the hallway… by myself. Toriel Zoomed off without a word and  I was left to walk alone. After a walk in a long hallway, Toriel came out from behind a pillar at the end of the hallway.

“Oh, good you’re alright. You see I was merely hiding behind this pillar this whole time. I knew you could do it!” Man, Toriel’s reassuring and all that but… she seems really paranoid about me getting hurt. Then Toriel gave me a cellphone. Then she told me to stay where I was so I wouldn’t get hurt. But ya know me, so I left! Once I left, Toriel called me, of course because why NOT! “Hello? This is Toriel, you have not left the room yet have you? If you have I have yet to explain the puzzles up ahead.  … For no particular reason at all do you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch?” Then a rectangle popped up and I was left to choose between Cinnamon or butterscotch. I chose Butterscotch Then Toriel stated to talk again, “Okay.”

Then back in the rectangle box said, “Click...” the black box disappeared. I walked a little further and then My cellphone rang for a second time. “Ring… Hello, This is Toriel, again I don’t mean to bother you but, you don’t dislike cinnamon Do you? I mean I now what your preference is but, would you turn your nose up if you found it on your plate? Just curious.” Then the black box appeared again this time saying, “Yes or No” I chose yes and the letters disappeared, and Toriel started to talk again, “okay see you in time child. Click…” then the box disappeared and I was walking once again alone in the Ruins. I walked up into a doorway and I found a bowl of candy. I walked up and The Black box appeared once again and it said, “Take one?” So I took a piece of Monster Candy. Then another, Then another, Then the candy bowl fell over and I couldn’t get any more. I left the room and found a Monster.

He said he was a Froggit and he told me that it was better to show some MERCY than to FIGHT. I walked some more till I found a huge pile of leaves stretched across the floor like a big rug. I walked on a few orange leaves and I fell through it into a room that looked exactly the same as the leaf room but with a path and rocks as the leaves. I sooned realized that this was helping me solve the leaf puzzle. So I came back up and did the puzzle remembering the pattern of the rocks and pathway. I soon came upon three rocks, and in front of them was a line of spikes. I walked up to a sign and it said that I had to slide the rocks on the path to make the spikes go back down into the ground. So I slid the first rock on a little square at the end of the path. Then the next. Then I tried to push the last one and it… Talked.

“Hey! Can you stop pushing me around I’m trying to take a nap. If you want me to move just ask.” So I pushed the rock again and it got really annoyed with me. “Fine! I’ll move for you then he moved a little to the left not forward on the path. “There! Better?” um no… so he moved to the right. Then he finally went onto the white square which made the spikes go down into the ground I started to walk, and then the rock moved off at the last moment and the spikes shot back up. “Oh, you wanted me to stay there, Okay” I finally was able to walk out of there.

Then I came across a ghost lying on some orange leaves.

I passed right through him and went on. I soon came across a big windy tree in the middle of something. I went farther and I found a house. Into the house I went and I came into the living room to find Toriel sitting in a chair. Toriel showed me around her beautiful house, and we came upon this room were it was all red and there was a bed. I Jumped into the bed and took a nap. Soon I awoke to find a piece of pie with a plate under it on the floor. I took it and walked out to find Toriel still sitting on the chair. “Hello, my child you’re awake. Do you want to hear an interesting fact about snails?” no… I asked if I could get out of the ruins. Toriel rushed out saying she had to be somewhere. I chased after her and it lead into a long hallway. She told me to go back upstairs and I followed her some more. And soon we came into a room with a door and Toriel made me… fight her.

My screen went black and my soul flickered and red white, green, black, and orange. I didn't want to do this.

Toriel Came at me with flaming balls of fire. I had to dodge out of the way of her little suns. I tried to spare her and her attacks became less extreme. I tried to dodge again but this time she was on purposely trying not to hit me. I kept on mercying her and she finally started to talk.”the only reason why I’m attacking you is because I want you to prove to me that you are strong enough to survive.” I still kept mercying her. At the end Toriel gave up and let me go. But before I went Toriel Gave me the fluffiest, warmest, saddest Goat hug EVER! I continued out the door and Toriel left me. When I got out of the door I found… SNOW!? I walked further into this snowy white landscape and while I was doing that I wondered how can it snow UNDER a mountain? I still went further and I found a bridge then my yellow skinned character froze Something walked up behind me it was big and it was a shadow. It said, “Don’t you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand.” My Person slowly turned and shook his hand. Then out of nowhere a fart sound came and the shadowy figure appeared in color He wore a blue hoodie, shorts and Pink slippers. He also was.. A skeleton!? “Hey kid the name’s Sans.( I want to write more about him but I don’t have any time to. I think i’m just gonna shorten the story just a bit so I can be done with this cuz I gotta long ways to go.)

I passed him and soon he said his brother Papyrus would come. Then THE BEST LINE IN HISTORY WAS MADE! “Quick behind that conveniently shaped lamp!” I rushed behind the lamp and Papyrus came into the snowy room. “SANS! HAVE YOU CAUGHT ANY HUMANS YET??!”

“No bro, I was just admiring this lamp do you want to take a look?” Sans said lazily. “ NO, SANS!!!! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE KEEPING A LOOKOUT FOR HUMANS!!! I SWEAR YOU GET LAZIER AND LAZIER EVERY DAY!!! WHY CAN’T YOU BE LIKE ME? tHE GREAT PAPYRUS!!!!” said Papyrus. Papyrus soon left and I continued into the magical land under the mountain.

I soon came into an area where there were little lumps of snow were scattered across the land. I walked up to one and it said it was a snowpoff. I walked up to about fifteen of them then the one at the end seemed weirder I walked up to it and it spouted a dog head and tail, Then it rises out of the snow and it was wearing a big suit of armor and held a spear and barked twice. Then my screen turned black and my soul flickered. I was fighting a dog. And you won't believe what happened next. The dog attacked me then one of his attacks was a dog lying on the ground and its barks I had to avoid. Then It happened The dog killed me. ( I am shortening the part cuz I’m tired) I died at least twice by him then I beat him and I made it into The place before snowdin.

AND I STOPPED PLAYING UNDERTALE to have lunch.
