Buzz Rings by Luke M

Buzz Rings
by Luke M
Hello, my name is Luke Mahoney and I am here to talk about my ECO Week experience. I have chosen to talk about my experience with the Buzz Rings, so let’s dive right in.
“Okay, time to switch stations!” yelled Adventure Alex. We all switched stations and when my group of twelve got there the teacher divided us into groups of 6 and made us lower a twelve foot tent pole with only two fingers. You can’t wrap your fingers around it, either. It was really easy so moved on to 1 finger, no voices, and eyes closed. Even that was easy so we moved to buzz rings.
There are five small rings on a big ring and you spin the small rings and then the big ring and when you spin the big ring it makes the small rings spin faster. We had to get it going then pass it around the circle. Our group set the record overall with more than two times around the circle.
It was really hard because only one person in our group could do it and she said “No I’ll, just mess up even worse.” Uuugh, we’re never going to get it started, I thought to myself. But eventually we got her to try and she got it started.
Then it kept stopping at one person, but we moved him to be next to the starter. After that we made it past him, but it stopped at the person who was in his spot.
The next time we tried it made it all the way around, and the time after that we just barely set the record of one more than two times around. We would have only tied it if we had had just one less person pass it on. In conclusion, the buzz rings were really fun, and I think our group is proud we set the standing record for the deadly Buzz Rings.
And that brings us back to now where I have just finished writing my ECO Week Personal Narrative. I think that was the most fun I have had in along time.
