Where should we go by Owen

Mrs. Hale said she was going to take us back in time to one of the mesoamerican civilizations. I know which one we should go to. We should go back in time to the civilization that was the most warlike out of all of them and was under was is now Mexico City. My three reasons that we should go are so we can see the warriors costumes, we can see what their temples looked like, and we can see how they came to an end.

The first reason we should go to this civilization is because then we can see there warrior costumes. Their costumes showed their rank. The Eagle was the top rank. (Probably because the city they made their capital had to do with a eagle eating a snake on a cactus.) It would also be cool to see how the different ranked warriors fought in battles.

The second reason is to see what their temples would look like before they died out. It would be cool to walk up and down it a bunch of times. The pyramids were used for religious sacrifices. The sacrifices were usually captured soldiers.

The third reason is so we can see how they came to an end. It would be cool to eye witness the spanish destroy them. And see the allies of the spanish fight them. Hérnán Cortés would also be interesting to interview.

We should go to the Aztecs because we can see the warriors costumes, we can see what their temples looked like, and we can see how they came to an end. The Aztecs conquered so many people, but they were destroyed by those angry people they conquered. So, here’s the lesson, if you get greedy you can get destroyed, like the Aztecs. I hope we go to the Aztecs for these reasons.
